GREAT GUANA CAY
Listed in Fodor's Travel Guide under "FODORS CHOICE" for best Bahamas beaches, travelers in search of the "Perfect 10" in beaches can end their quest at Guana Cay and its 7 miles of pristine white sand and thriving reefs.

Due to the sparse population of Guana, as well as the comparitively small number of travelers who visit this rather incredible cay, the diving and snorkeling of Guana's eastern shores is among the very best in all the Abacos. If you scuba dive or snorkel off Guana Cay, the visibility of our turquoise seas will astound you. The Great Abaco Barrier Reef is the third largest in the world and begins less than 50 feet from our shore. You won't need a boat to explore these underwater playgrounds. Clear visibility, lack of "traffic" and an abundance of marine life will pleasantly surprise you. Reef depths range from over 40 feet to less than two feet.

GETTING HERE
Numerous daily flights depart from Ft. Lauderdale (FLL), Palm Beach (PBI) and Miami (MIA) to Guana's nearest airport in Marsh Harbor (MHH). From there, Guana is only a 30 minute boat ride away via Albury's Ferry Service.
